"The nursing staff were very helpful ..."

About: Royal Derby Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

The nursing staff were very helpful and involved when helping my friend (who was the patient), running around trying to find her notes that one of the Doctors had walked off with, so that her pain relief could be administered.

What could be improved

Doctors/consultants not taking patients notes away from the bed(!) resulting in a delay in the patient receiving pain relief.

More parking.

Anything else?

Well sign-posted through to the wards, very spacious hospital with private, en-suite rooms. Very helpful and friendly ward staff.
