"The New Queen Elizabeth Hospital - Ward 8A"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / General surgery (Wards 9a, 9b, 9c & 9d)

(as a relative),

My Mother was admitted with a chest infection which turned into Pneumonia then problems with haematuria from her bladder from older radiotherapy treatment necessitating blood transfusions and a cystectomy.

The nurses, 7 doctors and the dissemination of information were all fantastic. Special thanks to Collette, Fiona and Kimberly, as well as Dr. Caroline Whitton

On behalf of all the staff in 8a I would like to say thank you for taking the time to put such positive feedback on this website. We are delighted you and your mum were satisfied with the care in 8a and your feedback is truly appreciated.
