I was admitted into x ray only a few minutes late by a professional yet friendly sister called Jenny who told me exactly what was going to happen over the next few hours. She popped her head into the booth countless times and when my beta blocker had been administered to work its magic of slowing down my heartbeat for the scan, she was dilligent chencking on me and the other patients in the area. When the canular didn't go intomy arm properly she was reasurring and professional at all times, saying she would advise advise the doctor and other members of the team that I needed a canular inserting. I was handed over the the ct staff and particularly Shennan Sesh, Amaryllis was very pleasant, professional and informative about the procedure I was about to have. Not once did I worry what was happening and how long the procedure was going to last. Even the Doctor who administered meds during the procedure introduced himself kindly! Even a cup of tea I was offered afterwards was offerred pleasantly and was well received as the feeling of the dye in my veins had made me feel nauseaous! Iwas very well served today by the NHS. The two people who served me were professional yet polite and most pleasant and served me well indeed. Good job, they are an asset to the NHS and need to be told as much! Thanks very much.
