In June my husband suffered a small stroke. We were referred up to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary by our GP within a week. Our appointment was 9am and within 2 hours my husband had been spoken to and examined by a lovely doctor (Dr Malik I think), had blood taken, had a chest X-ray, a carotid USS, a CAT scan of the brain, an ecg and another chat with the Doctor with all the results. We left reassured with a new prescription for medication. All this was then followed up with a letter explaining all again a week or so later. All in all a great service.
"Great service."
