About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5)

(as the patient),

I attended maureens clinic and was treated with divinity and respect maureen was very professional and caring and made me feel at ease

I was nervous going into the appointment but soon calmed down after speaking to maureen

she is an exceptional person and does the NHS proud

she deserves to be thanked for her hard work her kindness and her dedication

the only thing I can say negative about this service is where the test is carried out is off a main waiting area of another department so if you gag or throw up people in the waiting area can hear you.

thanks for your feedback following your visit to Maureen's clinic. it's great to know that you found you were treated professionally, and with dignity and respect. It's important to us that our patients and their loved ones feel this. I'll ensure your kind comments are fed back to Maureen.

With regards to the lay out of the department; this can be challenging. As you point out, it can't be nice for people to hear this. I've asked my Senior Nurse for this service to have a chat with Maureen to see if they can put their heads together and come up with a solution to this.
