"Booking an appointment at Health Centre"

After a doctor's appointment at Centre Surgery, Hinckley, I was sent downstairs to book a blood test appointment.

I was unsure of where to go, but was eventually sent to the end of the Outpatient desk where I was greeted with a frown from the receptionist. I am an understanding person and comprehend how stressful it must be to work in healthcare. However, I felt very awkward and almost criminal when asking for alternative dates to the one she abruptly suggested, she seemed annoyed. I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed.

There was no smile and no friendliness; and having had a stressful morning, this was actually very upsetting.
