About: Glenfield Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The hospital was calm and welcoming, I was welcomed by chargenurse on transfer from LRI.

I felt that the surgeons, anaethatist listened to my concerns and involved me in my care. Most of the nurses were kind and attentive.

The menu was good, I relly enjoyed the salads.

What could be improved

Communication between doctors/nurses /physios and patient could be better.

Call bells took a long time to be answered.

Anything else?

Discharge to home not planned it was a matter of you are ok for home today regardless of clothes or transport,or who is at home.in fact ihad to stay an extra night as the medicines did not arrive until it was too late to go.It seems that there is too much pressure from above to clear beds regardless of patient's felings.
