"You make me feel like at home"

About: The Great Western Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I've arrived to ER one day in early January 2016. First time in the hospital as a patient.

Registration, bit of waiting, Triage. Vaccinations. Drip. At 1900 I got my wounds cleaned by a doctor. It takes some time to this stage, but I saw people with more serious injuries and as I completely understand way the busiest industry in the world have to prioritise the cases I was just a patient patient: )

I saw all those colourful bees running, trying to satisfy all waiting sufferers at one time. The attitude was great. Even though some of those bees were already after ten hours of continuous exhaustive bustle, their attitude, commitment and passion were still like as they had just graduated. I was so impressed. It was my idea as to what happens in the middle of Swiss watch.

Hats off to all the ER team, to all nurses, to all doctors, to all helpers, elves, dwarves, all small mice and bees. You are doing fantastic job. Titans of work. Sultans of Swing.

You all are in my eyes absolute role models. People with such a developed empathy should be leading others to a greater world.

Part II

I would also like to send special thanks to The Shalbourne Suite. Would love to thank everyone there for so friendly and like family. I felt like I got a separate bond with every person I have met there. Even though I'm like million others that will go through this ward. Every single person let me feel very special and they all treated me individually. That was something I have never expressed before.

You are great people. Great professionals with huge passion. Don't you ever let anyone to make you doubt in it. I already feel like you are all my best friends. I just met you yesterday and will leave tomorrow morning. But I already miss you. You make me feel like at home. Spoiled me a bit but never loose the focus on me.

I would rather not like to come back too soon. I would rather not meet springer spaniels anymore. But if... I come back, I will patiently wait for my turn as I know I will be in good hands.

No words to thank you all...
