Just wanted to express my thanks at how good my care was at Basingstoke hospital maternity department. I gave birth there on 9th December and all the staff involved were fantastic. Especially four particular Midwives. You guys were so supportive & made the experience feel totally controlled and that I was in safe hands.
The surgical team were also all amazing - especially the surgeon, anaesthetist & doctor - they were all really relaxed, incredibly friendly & made me very comfortable through the procedure - they even made me laugh & the surgeon went out of their way to chat & even gave me new baby advice!
All the people on the ward were also fab, especially one in particular.
I didn't want to give birth at the hospital and had opted for the midwife centre but had to go to the hospital due to time in the end and I am so pleased I did. I can't say a bad word about the maternity unit & have made sure I have sung your praises to anyone pregnant I have encountered since!
