My husband had massive stroke and 3 seizures. He is being looked after at ward c, for the past 4 months. I cannot thank this dedicated team enough for the care, kindness, compassion, and wonderful care they have given my husband, also the support for myself and our family, we did not know first thing, about a stroke.
They guided us, and held us up when we were lost with it all. but most of all the dedication and friendship, and making my husband smile. Always stopping by his room, even when they weren't needed, just to keep him going, with a smile making him feel happy.
He leaves to go into nursing home on Sunday. He doesn't want to leave the team who have cared for him. Linda, Diane, Gaynor, Heather, Val, Keith, Marjorie, Brenda, and so many more. The most important thing they did for my husband was taking care of him as if he was one if there own family and I thank them for that with all my heart.
"They cared for him as if he was family"
