"My son's quick and efficient treatment"

About: Western General Hospital / General Surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

My son and I went to a GP's appt on Wed morning (9.45 am) and we were quickly sent for a referral to see a doctor at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. We were quickly seen and assessed and by 12 noon my son was being prepped for a minor surgery.

The reception staff could have been more friendly, but I would like to praise the efficiency of both my GP and the doctor at the WGH for the treatment my son received. I would also like to mention the nurse who assessed my son and supported both him and myself. Fantastic work NHS Scotland! Keep up the good work.
