What I liked

The ward staff are first rate - even when under staffed.

What could be improved

I note Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has not published any replies to patients concerns published on this website since December 2008. Gives an appearance that comments on this site are of little value to the Trust or indeed its Trustees. Come on Surrey and Sussex demonstrate you care! Responding to concerns expressed on this site may result in less formal means of complaints being made by those patients/visitors who have real concerns about issues at the hospital

Anything else?

Sometimes the nurses were unsure what my level of medication should be whilst on the ward. That cannot be acceptable.

Food getting better but still delivered not hot enough.

We take all comments posted on this site very seriously and do pass them on to the appropriate people. It is sometimes difficult to address individual concerns raised on this site as there is sometimes not sufficient detail to identify individual areas or departments so we can follow up. However, we do take your point that by not commenting it appears that we don't care which couldn't be further from the truth. We will endeavour to rectify that by replying to all comments from now on.
