"Congratulations to all staff in ward C33"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I was admitted at lunch-time on 31st December, following a doctor's referral to see a consultant about a stubborn ear infection. The speed, efficiency and care of all staff involved was impressive. I have nothing but praise for all those involved - doctors, nurses, pharmacists, auxiliaries and the person serving tea. I was treated with kindness and respect by them all. I was discharged at around 4pm the following day - 1st January. What a credit they are to the NHS and all the more so given that the hospital was extremely busy with New Year revellers.
