"Impossible to see a doctor"

I have a whole raft of moans about my GP surgery (Kingsway Medical Practice) and how I find it impossible to see a Doctor, even if I urgently need medical care; their only response is to say "go to the walk in centre" who can’t prescribe. I find some staff unhelpful, and some of the receptionists impossible, but the Doctors are usually pretty good.

Last week my Dad tried for 3 days to get an appointment to get some antibiotics for a chest infection, this is not good enough, we ended up taking a now very ill old man out in the freezing fog to see the out of hours GP several miles away, he should have been in bed.

I now don’t bother to see my GP about my range of medical conditions (including heart problems), I now just wait until my health is bad enough for me to attend A&E. It’s not worth the stress of battling the system.

Everyone I know complains about this GP practice, if only they could get their appointments system in order and prioritise the patient.
