"Fantastic Staff"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I attended A&E last Saturday as I was in agony with pain on my right side.

I was seen very quickly and taken through to the assessment bay where I was treated by a kind nurse who took my blood. I was in huge amounts of pain and moved again where I was seen by two very friendly Doctors, I was given pain relief and then moved to Tandridge ward. The nursing staff on this ward were always very friendly and always introduced themselves. I was very impressed in the way that I was treated right from start to finish. A special mention to the porters who play a vital role in the hospital, they always had a smile and happy to help.

Overall I would say that East Surrey Hospital has fantastic staff and consultants who all do a great job looking after us all!

Dear Cyberminx,

Thank you for your positive feedback about your emergency attendance to East Surrey Hospital on Saturday and stay on Tandridge ward.

I am glad you say the nurses always introduced themselves, this is something so simple but so important for patients to help them have confidence whilst in our care.

The porters are our so important to us and completely integral to the smooth running of the hospital.

I will definitely feed back your comments to all the areas you have mentioned

Kind Regards

Branita Mills
