This is the third time in as many appointments with my four year old son that we have had to wait for over 20 minutes in a queue to get into the car park and been late for our appointment.the last time I had an appointment I had to dash out of the car with my son as my wife waited in queue to park the car. This time I actually factored the car park queueing into the journey time and we were still late! Surely someone must have known in the initial planning stages the potential traffic volume as this hospital was built on a pre existing one. Would it not benefit the entire hospital if outpatients were at least encouraged to make their appointment times? Adequate car parking surely shouldn't have been such a difficult thing to achieve. Asda and Tesco seem to manage it quite easily and you also don't have to pay for the privilege.
"Car parking or lack of it."
