My Auntie has been staying in ward 13 for a few weeks now. When asked a certain nurse (Qualified) has not been up to standards with my idea of respect and communication. The first occurrence we had was asking if it was ok to assist her into bed which was rudely replied with not much help at all. The second occurrence was today when we visited and we were asking when our auntie was able to have a shower as she has not for a while which was replied with 'How do you know she hasn't had one?" and asking another nurse if they had when our auntie told us she had defiantly had not had one. this to me was very rude and disrespectful towards our aunties own sister who visits her often. It is upsetting enough having to visit relatives in hospital and we would much prefer an experience where people in charge were morning kind and considerate.
