My experience of the care I received by the midwives whilst I was pregnant was amazing. From start to finish, I was treated as a human being. I was encouraged to ask any questions, whether it was during my appointment or afterwards. I was ensured that they would be there 24/7. My partner was included in everything and was encouraged to ask questions also.
I decided I was going to have my baby locally, much to my mums annoyance. On the day of delivery, my mum was in attendance and her my mind was completely changed as the midwives were amazing and were on top of everything and made me, my partner and my mum so relaxed.
The after care was faultless, with a couple of midwives coming out more than once a day just to make sure myself and the baby were doing ok.
I am going to be recommending to everyone I know who is having a baby to stay local as the care is the best I could've asked for.
