"Abbey ward"

My partner was admitted to abbey ward. He was so frightened about going initially as this is something we was hoping to avoid. However the place is nowhere near what we had been told and infact just as normal as a hospital. For the first days of his stay he was on one to one watch he didn't like this but when better understoof the reasoning of this. All the staff were amazing. Making sure his stay was as easy and straight forward as possible. Allowing him a few hours out with family member to give him freedom. He also went to the gym provided there which also helped him. I honestly feel they went above and beyond expectations whilst he was there. I couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you!
