I am writing 5 days after my op. I had not had a decent sleep in nearly a year because of pain in my left hand waking me and insisting that I get up off my bed. I would have multiple episodes of pain throughout every night.
I have lost some sensation in some areas of my hand as a result of the condition prior to surgery.
I was referred for surgery and within a very short time I was admitted onto the ward and prepared for my op. The staff are great. Very genuine and very supportive throughout the information and medical history note taking. The care and support given is fantastic.
I went to theater and had a local anaesthetic for the op. I can honestly say that I didn't feel anything throughout the surgery and apart from a bit of aching in my wrist everything is all healed up and looking really good today.
I am sleeping at night now without painful interruptions!
Thank you-Thank you-Thank you-Thank you-many many thanks!!!!!!
