"Kind, efficient and reassuring"

About: Honiton Hospital

On the evening of 29th December I brought in my 6 year old grandson who had unfortunately been bitten on his eye brow by our springer spaniel.

It was a very minor bite caused by my grandson inadvertently falling, whilst playing, on to the dog who was asleep. I thought it safer to take him to Honiton A@E.

He was very quickly treated by two nurses who were courteous and efficient and put both me and my grandson at ease.

My thanks to both of these nurses for their professional care and attention.

Dear Relative

Many thanks for posting your feedback on the website. I was really pleased to see your grandson was put at ease, as children can often be very anxious when visiting hospital, especially following a minor injury.

I have forwarded on your very kind comments to the MIU manager where they will be warmly received, and shared with the staff.

Many thanks
