"Elm ward excellent"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

We would like to thank all the staff on elm ward for the really hard work they do and the excellent care they gave to my father in law in his last few days . The staff gave him all the care they could, they made it such a nice peaceful atmosphere when he passed . They also went out there way when they were extremely busy to look after us as well , my husband and his brother stayed up there for 3 days solid they made sure they were comfortable at night they made sure they had eaten and had plenty to drink , this service was over and beyond there normal job , as there was the rest of the ward to sort out all these nurses are angels .

Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts .xx

Please could you make sure this gets passed onto elm ward .

Thank you for taking the time to post your appreciation of the care you received as a family during the final days of your father-in-law’s life. I am very glad that the staff were able to not only support him through those final hours but also to provide you all with the care and support you needed at such a difficult time in your lives. I know that the staff will be very pleased to hear that they were successful in providing you with some special time with him to say goodbye. I will definitely pass your comments on to all the staff concerned. Thank you for your positive feedback and may I offer you and your family my condolences on the sad loss of your father-in-law.
