"Ward 16 &17"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

My daughter has spent alot of time in wards 16 and 17 and the nursing staff are absolutely wonderful, she is petrified of Dr's nurses and any staff in hospitals and they were so friendly and cheerful towards her, there was the odd nurses that didn't listen to us but that was only one or two, the rest of the staff were fantastic, they made her stay alot more manageable and pleasant, they were very understanding of her and helped me alot with keeping her calm and relaxed as possible, to be honest the a&e staff that cared for her when we came in by ambulance were lovely too, every time we have been rushed in the nurses the emergency room have come up to our ward to see how she's getting on and to wish her well, one member of staff, unfortunately I don't know her name, bought her a toy and a beautiful little bow for her hair, such lovely staff and so friendly would recommend it to everyone I no. Thank you so much to all the staff that cared for my daughter during her many visits, you were fantastic.

It sounds as though your daughter has had quite a bad time just recently if she has spent a lot of time on wards 16 and 17. I hope that she is getting better now. It is so important to remember that hospitals can be scary places, particularly for children. I am glad that the staff have made your daughter feel calm and relaxed and that they were cheerful and friendly. Thank you for your comments they really are appreciated. I will share them with the teams.
