On New Years Day I visited my 82 year old sister on D'Arcy Ward at lunchtime. She was served fish chips and peas the quality of which was a disgrace . The fish when she cut it turned out to be virtually all batter with barely any fish inside and the chips were undercooked with dried up peas. She was unable to eat any of it . I then handed it back to the nurses who were serving lunch and then asked if they would eat it.They then offered to serve her a minced meal which was declined. I then asked if they would forward my complaint on to the kitchens. I also noticed that other patients on the ward left their food untouched. How can you expect elderly patients to exist like this. Is this a supplier problem.
