"Ward 13C nurses with no interest in caring for..."

About: The Royal London Hospital

So disappointed with the service my mum is receiving at the moment. My mum had her like amputated 3 weeks ago so she’s still in shock (age 69). We visit her everyday and on every visit she has a complaint about how she’s been mistreated in ward 13c. Nurses with no interest in caring for patients. A lot of issues but its not enough to write down in this review. One of the main issue was few days ago she was moved from her bed to a seat and after few hours she got tired of seating down so she asked the nurse kindly to help her to go back into bed and the nurse refused to help her and went away and never came back to help my mum so mum struggled with difficulty and put herself back into bed. This is a lady that has renal dialysis 3 times a week, with high blood pressure, diabetes type 2 many more illness. It’s not fair on how she’s been treated at this ward. I will be writing a formal complaint soon after I speak to the head of the ward. I real do love the hospital but some nurses do put shame on the hospital name.

We are very sorry to hear that you are not happy with the care your mother is receiving whilst on our Ward. We urge you to speak to the Ward Manager whose name and number is clearly displayed on entry to the ward. The Senior Nurse is also keen to address these issues and more than happy to discuss these with you.

Kind regards
