About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

from the time i was admitted onto the gastroenterology ward just before xmas until i left on xmas eve evening i received wonderfull care from all members of staff .the nurses and care staff on ward 17 really do the hospital proud with their hard work and very caring attitude. i just wanted to mention all the drs who all helped me but i particularly wanted to mention one doctor who when i arrived in a/e , extremely frightened, showed myself and my equally frightened 23yr old son the highest standard of care i could have hoped for. This doctor was so caring, efficient with a lovely manner and kept us informed and reassured then and throughout my stay. we wont forget that and as a nurse myself, (make the worst patients) i know how hard everyone works, but it is not a pleasant experience being on that side of things but this doctor and all your staff certainly helped me and may i say all the other patients there aswell.
