"First Visit."

About: Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road Campus)

My student son was home for the Christmas break and suffering with an eye infection. Local GP would not see him as not registered.

Arrived to a near empty reception and once booked in waited a few minutes before being seen by 3 different medical staff for an eye test n drops. Then for a thorough eye examination and different drops, findings then confirmed by a third medic and off to the pharmacy we went. It appears we struck lucky with our short visit 1.5hrs in all, as the couple in front of us had been there 5 hours.

The whole experience was professional and caring. The hospital is spotless, well done to the cleaners. The only mess was the dirty people using the toilets n chucking tissues on the floor!

Excellent treatment received throughtout. Thank you Moorfields.

Thank you for your positive comments regarding your son's visit to our accident and emergency, I have passed on your comments to the staff there and know it encourages them when they receive such comments. Waiting times, as with people's sense of hygiene, can vary, and I'm glad you were not delayed by the former and can only apologise for the latter. Thank you for taking the time to comment and I hope your son's problem didn't spoil his enjoyment of the holidays too much.
