Since my diagnosis of Stage 4 breast cancer in August I have met some wonderful people working in this hospital.
In the Breast Centre Doctor and two other Oncologists have treated me with dignity, kindness and, where needed, a sense of humour.
All the nursing staff have been extremely kind, supportive and informative.
Yesterday I met the phlebotomist, who kept me laughing, in the style of Dr Hunter 'Patch' Adams, the American Clown doctor. They also managed to take a blood sample quickly and painlessly when many have often struggled to find a vein in the past.
I am confident that I have a team working with me, providing an excellent standard of care.
Please ensure that my comments are conveyed to the people mentioned.
