"My Wifes Cardiology appointment cancelled for..."

At 10am this morning my wife received a call from the hospital cancelling her 2pm cardiology appointment for the 6th time, she should have attended her follow up appointment on 18th August and it has been cancelled ever since. This situation is getting completely out of hand.

She has been unable to drive since March and is waiting for the all all clear to drive again, after having all the tests

I am having to drive her to and from a part time job which means me driving 64 mile a day. Since March I have have driven her over 9000 miles and averaging 2 hours a day of my time. Also I am not a well person having had to retire myself on ill health grounds. Her life is on hold and its not her own while this ridiculous situation continues. She is now severely depressed not now knowing when the appointment will be re-arranged for.

After all this (hopefully) final appointment will provide closure so why cant the hospital prioritise a case like this bearing in mind it has been cancelled so many times, after all the appointment is likely to last only a few minutes.
