I had been on holiday to Goa and came back very unwell. I visited my GP who rang ward E 2 at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital for their advice and I was informed to go up to the ward.
On my arrival I was shown to my room which was very clean and pleasant. I have a great phobia of Hospitals and was extremely nervous, I was seen straight away by a doctor and given a full examination and was asked lots of questions and routine bloods was taken, all the staff was very friendly and helpful and tried to relief my fears.
I informed the Doctor of my phobia and asked if I could go home and return first thing the next morning after consulting his colleagues it was agreed that I could go home to return the next day. On my return once again I received excellent treatment and was seen by a top Doctor and once again examined thoroughly.
