"Minor Injuries 20 Dec 2015"

About: Minehead Community Hospital

While staying at Butlins we visited on Sun 20 Dec with our son age 4 who had a temperature of over 40 that we were struggling to get down.

The nurse we saw was lovely, very calm with an upset child and worried Mum and Dad.

The nurse spent over an hour with our son before referring us onto Musgrove Park in Taunton, sending us on our way with a set of test results and a teddy bear for our son :)

On our arrival in Taunton they were expecting us and a bed was ready.

It turned out to be no more than a severe case of tonsillitis but we were worried and the service we received was fab, particularly in Minehead.

Thank you.

Dear Cass family Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience of our MIU department in Minehead. It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback about our services, and be assured that the PALS service will share your comments to the Nurse Consultant and the lead ENP over in Minehead. I hope that your child is feeling much better now, and able to enjoy the Christmas period. Many thanks once again Karen Howard-Grenville
