"Staff were lovely"

About: Erith & District Hospital

Attended Christmas Day with bad oral thrush was told by a patronising doctor that it was just a viral ulcer - I knew it wasn't and told the doctor it was a oral thrush which had come back - the doctor refused to help me further saying to take paracetamol. it was so bad that day and night I needed to attend again Boxing Day - a different doctor examined me and immediately prescribed nystatin and was surprised the doctor the day before had not agreed with the diagnosis - the place was lovely and so were the staff and I was seen quickly

Thank you for your comments.

I can only apologies for the service you received on Christmas day.

I have searched the system and will talk to the Dr involved on your case the first time about his attitude and your subsequent revisit the following day.

I will also pass on your praise to the staff you saw on Boxing day.

I hope you are recovering well.
