Hi,
Yesterday I had to visit A and E with my 82 year old Dad.
We had previously called 111, then been referred to a drop in centre.
The Doctor that saw my Dad there said we needed to go to A and E.
We arrived at @ 14.30.
The receptionist was very kind and professional.
However I was disgusted by the rude, brusque nurse that took my Dads blood pressure and detais ( I have their name).
If the nurse thinks their attitude showed a caring side of the NHS, then they are sadly mistaken.
If I had been on my own I would have addressed their attitude at the time.
Listening to other patients conversations in the waiting room, it would appear we were not the only people that felt that way.
We did not want to spend our Boxing day in A and E and I take exception at this being one of the things they inferred.
"A and E"
