Will you please accept my thanks and gratitude for the service I received following my heart attack on Sunday last. From the St.John's Ambulance personnel at the velodrome, the paramedic, ambulance staff, pharmacy and the wonderful coronary care unit, especially two of the nurses, I could not have received better attention anywhere. May I also say that, whilst my experience was not pleasant, it was made as bearable as it could possibly be. The food was very good in terms of both quantity, quality and variety served by a lovely staff. The NHS takes a lot of battering in the media, none of which could possibly apply to the Derby Royal from management downwards. In the mean time may we wish you all a belated happy Christmas and a healthy(!) and prosperous 2016.
