A huge thank you to all staff at SDGH for the excellent care they gave to our Mum over the last week. Mum was admitted last Thursday afternoon as an emergency via 999 ambulance. We thought we were going to lose her, but thanks to the exceptional care from ambulance, Doctors and Nurses on A&E, then wonderful care on ward 14B by the Sister and their team, our Mum was discharged yesterday in time for Christmas with her family. Further thanks to the assessment team and social services for providing a care package for Mum so quickly & proficiently.
As a Nurse myself I was more than happy with her care, and professionalism of all staff she encountered, I am only too aware of how the NHS is struggling and how many people moan about the NHS, but certainly on this very personal occasion I am so proud of our NHS, many many thanks,
