At about 09. 00 hrs. I phoned my GP to request a home visit as my wife was suffering from acute bronchitis. The doctor said he would get a chemist to deliver some anti-biotic.
At about 16. 00 hrs. no medication had arrived. As time was running out I telephoned my GP surgery. There was no response - They had gone home (until 28/12). I then phoned 111 and have told the duty nurse and then a duty GP the drugs were delivered to my home. I Both my wife and I are in our eighties and it was impossible for me to leave the home.
I wish to thank all concerned for the beyond the duty treatment we received.
