"Brilliant oncologist"

Having been first seen in June by urology and started the journey of prostate cancer treatment I was so impressed by everyone I encountered before and after the operation both at GWH and Southmead. Having now moved on to the post operative treatment I have to say that my consultant has been brilliant. My consultants detailed but clear explanations of what is going on have enabled me to understand and therefore participate in the treatment decisions that need to be made allowing me to feel that I have a degree of control. My consultant is very calm and very honest which inspires a huge amount of confidence. The fact that my consultant is prepared to tell me that there are certain things to which they do not have an answer helps so much. A great team at GWH and I am a lucky guy to have them on my case.
