Friendly and helpful staff - shame some services for patients are just not provided in some wards to help patient past the time.

What could be improved

Godstone Ward, East Surrey Hospital has no access to TV, Radio including the award winning hospital radio - its not a critical care ward. So why is this ward so poorly provided for to help patient pass what can be a long boring time? Its a backwater compared to what some other wards have. At Epsom hospital each most beds have their own TV and phone - (a small fee applies) and a free radio all housed on one simple stand. Even if East Surrey cannot give a service at the beds it should be able to provide somewhere for those patients who can get out of bed to go and enjoy TV or the radio - or just chat with others.

Interested to see if East Surrey reply as soon as they do for those messages that say well done.
