i was very pleased with the care I got from a nurse, but I suffer with anxiety attacks and depression and decided I wanted to leave and not stay over night as I was really panicky so was told by the doctor it wasn't advisable but I could self discharge myself but if I felt unwell to come straight back so I decided to leave but before I left a senior nurse came in and bellowed at me at the top of their voice that I was never allowed to come back to the hospital for any treatment which was very upsetting as all the other patients and staff heard the nurse I felt very embarrassed as everyone was looking at me even as I was going out the door the nurse made sure they shouted out to the receptionist that I was leaving when the nurse could have just walked up to them.
The nurse was really going out of their way to make me look like the worse person ever I don't think this is a right way to talk to patients I am very disappointed in the way the nurse did this I was born in Lewisham hospital and have been to the hospital for both myself and other family members and have never been spoken to in such a horrible tone before the staff have always been very nice.
