I had a total hip replacement late on the 20th October, I was home by tea time on the 22nd October !
The care I received was exceptional and I would like to say a huge thank you to the consultant and their fantastic team on Birch Ward, a very friendly bunch with plenty of good humoured banter ! The food was excellent and I watched in amazement as the cleaner thoroughly cleaned my bay with such efficiency. I would highly recommend the service to anyone who is preparing for a hip replacement..
As for me, I amazed the physiotherapist once home and have recovered amazingly quickly.
