The service which we received from the Royal London Hospital Maternity Ward on 28/11/2015 - was absolutely wonderful.
I cannot praise all staff highly enough.
My wife gave birth at the early hours on 28.11.2015 to a baby boy.
We arrived at A&E on 27.11.2015 in quite a state as my wife was already in labour.
A&E staff responded instantly and swiftly moved my wife to a delivery room on the 6th floor.
One particular member of staff was very supportive, caring and professional from start to finish - thank you so much.
The doctors and nurses are clearly experts in their field and know exactly what to do when it comes to delivering the baby and looking after the mother (and partner).
The next two days were difficult for my wife but we were supported the whole time by a team of highly experienced, knowledgeable, caring, friendly and intelligent staff.
We met different staff through the entire process at different times of the day and all were outstanding.
I can only describe them as angels.
This department and the services provided put this team put this ward, this hospital and the NHS service at the forefront of maternity care in the world.
We are very, very grateful for the service which we received - and we would not hesitate to recommend the services to any prospective mother.
Thank you.
"Maternity ward - outstanding delivery and post..."
