"Walk in centre (Newcastle under Lyme)"

Taking a friend to the new walk in centre I was very much impressed by, a) The location, (next to a multi-story), b) By the reception and organisation, c) The opening times: 8 am to 8pm 7 days a week. d)The appearance and design of the centre. e) The fact that the public can register there and make it their general practice.

The idea that someone can go without a prior appointment will, as the centre becomes known to the population, be able to deal with emergencies such as mental crisis by re-directing the caller to appropriate services or reassuring a caller who is anxious about a perceived symptom.
