"Fantastic labour ward"

I had my first baby 4 weeks ago at pinderfields and would like to thank all the people who looked after me but especially the doctor who did a very fast epidural which took away all my pain and then looked after me all the way through my emergency section. I was very scared that there was something wrong and that I'd feel them cutting but the doctor really reassured me and then distracted me by being hilarious even though working hard.

The food was good and the place was clean and they got me off the dirty sheets as soon as the c section had finished. Kept having different midwives though who all had different advice but it was very busy and I know it wasnt there fault. There were 3 other women in the recovery room with crying babies which made it difficult to sleep as mine was on special care so I would have liked to go back to my room but it had another lady in it already.

I'm not planning on having another baby but if I do I will go to pinderfields again and this time ask to see the same doctor from the very start!
