i went in for fusion on my ankle 2 week ago, and the staff on ward 12 on the ward were lovely, very helpful, and kept me informed of what was going on, from start to finish was only in over night but they were brilliant, the problem I had was the next day my foot had swelled and I could not feel my toes so my dad took me up to Dewsbury a and e, they were horrible, I arrived at Dewsbury at 1 and had to wait until 8 that morning to be taken to pinderfields as my dad was unable to take me I then had to wait another 5 hours to be seen by a doctor the sister in a and e had a horrible attitude and said that my dad should not have left me at the hospital, I was under the impression that at 28 I could make my own decisions and did not need parental guidance. I finally got sorted and at home for 4pm the following day that was 15 hours I sat about in hospitals in uncomfortable and in a lot of pain, I don't think it is good enough
