What I liked

I have been a patient at Stanmore since 1961 and have never had the need to fault it ever. The staff have been excellent, the hospital the cleanest i have ever seen. Everytime i have been in for an operation i have been treated with the upmost care. The surgeon and his team have fully explained everything and have always asked if i have had any worries. I loved the fact that when i came in November this year the hospital had not changed at all, brought back many happy memories, but obviously needs a refurb now. The physiotherapists were very friendly and very very patient and also very helpful, even the cleaning ladies were chatty.Keep up the excellent work.

Anything else?

Don't change anything, except for the building of course! Shame you cant bring back the long wicker baskets on wheels to take the young ones round the grounds, and maybe bring back the pigs for them to feed, but then not a lot of you would remember that!

We are actively pursuing a redevelopment of the Stanmore site and remain hopeful that a positive decision will be forthcoming in the very near future.
