"Pendlebury Hospital is the tops!"

Hi my son was diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was 9 month old and was taken to Pendlebury, he was taken to Haywood ward where he spent 13 weeks, from the day we walked in when my son was seriously ill to the day we walked out we were treated exceptionally well ,the staff on the ward could not be faulted in any way and the ward was always clean and tidy .

As any body with a sick child will know it is a heart breaking and soul destroying experience but the staff there make it so much easier to cope .

I owe them all my life simply for giving my son his......

I also sing every praise Mr Leggett for his sheer brilliance at what he does to me you are a true saint never mind giving all these famous people honours and knighthoods you deserve the highest there could be also whatever they give to women Mr Leggette's secretary you should be honoured that medal.

Now for those unsung heroes in the out patience department always greeting you with a beaming smile and when you are worried it is a very welcome one too., You make each time i come easier to cope with and for that i thank you

So i suppose my summary of Pendlebury Children's hospital is that it is totally the tops.

Now my son is a thriving 5 year old boy and although he still has to go for regular scans and checks i know he is in the safest hands possible and for this i thank them from the bottom of my heart i am thankful for all you have done and will do in the future for every child you ever see as well as my son JD
