What I liked

Very professional and caring staff. Very quick to attend to me. Just couldn't fault it at all. I was admitted as an emergency case and they took care of me immediately. I was in hospital for 3 days and it was amazing to be cared for by such caring and professional people.

What could be improved

Nothing really. But, food portions were on the slightly small side but not too bad. I thought the food was great and we even had a menu to choose from!

Anything else?

All the staff at the Hallamshire are very dedicated to their work. I really enjoyed my stay even though I'd have preferred to not have had to be in hospital! But, the hospital is great. It also has great views over the city. I'm very grateful for the care and attention I received while in the hospital. My followup consultations and tests have also been great. Can't fault it. A very good example of how great the NHS can be.

Patients do have the option of selecting a small, medium or large portion from the menu card, and a member of the catering team is always happy to discuss any concerns or suggestions about meals with patients. On this occasion we are sorry to hear that the portion size did not meet with your expectations and your feedback has been sent to the catering team.

We are pleased to hear that on the whole your experience has reflected the hard work and dedication of our staff.
