Today we took our 10 month old daughter to see Dr Thornburgh (Consultant Paediatrician) at Northampton General Hospital. Our daughter had been referred as she had had a urinary tract infection.
What we liked was the fact that Dr Thornburgh fully explained what investigations our daughter needs to have, she made us feel empowered to ask questions without feeling awkward and that we had a choice regarding our daughter's treatment without making us feel under pressure.
Thank you very much Dr Thornburgh.
