"Poor service"

About: Kingston Hospital

I was disappointed . Firstly the midwife said I would get an epidural as I felt in so much pain and assured me I am on top of the list . I have never received however they offered me gas and air . I needed to push for 2,5 h without any painkiller and they took away gas and air . Secondly one of the doctor came and access the situation and literally left because they needed to attend other lady And I felt I was not important as the patient . And later again came other doctor .

Eventually they needed to use the vacuum to help my baby come out . At last the midwife who discharged us from the hospital let us leave the hospital without car seat for a baby but obviously this is safety issue .

Thank you for your feedback, sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience in the Maternity Unit. I have passed your comments onto the Maternity Team.
