"A&E department very disappointing"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

I came to the a & e department and had to wait for over 3 hours in order to be seen. However I see people coming in and being seen after 10 min. The receptionists do not seem very keen on answering any questions either. So not satisfied with this department at all.

The A&E department can be very busy at times.

We have a triage process whereby the most critically ill patient gets seen first, we also have a walk in asthma clinic whereby asthma patients are seen and treated and therefore it may appear that some patients are seen before patients who have waited longer.
